Welcome to AUCZI. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using the AUCZI marketplace, including buying, selling and using our marketplace services.
By creating an account or using AUCZI, you agree to follow these Terms and any policies that apply to the services you use.
AUCZI is an online marketplace designed to connect buyers and sellers and provide tools that make buying and selling simpler, safer and easier to manage.
Unless AUCZI specifically states that it is the seller of an item, products offered through the marketplace are listed and sold by independent sellers. The identity and status of the seller should be shown where required on the relevant listing or transaction information.
You may need an AUCZI account to use certain marketplace features.
Buyers should review the complete product listing, price, condition, seller information, delivery information and applicable policies before placing an order.
When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate payment and delivery information and to pay the amount clearly presented to you before completing the purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits statutory consumer rights that apply to a transaction.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their listings and selling activities comply with applicable laws and AUCZI policies.
Sellers must:
AUCZI may apply listing limits, verification requirements or other marketplace safeguards. Eligible sellers may be able to request increased limits.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information they provide for their listings, even where AUCZI tools help organise, format or improve that information.
AUCZI may review, restrict or remove listings that appear to breach applicable law, marketplace policies, intellectual property rights or safety requirements.
Prices, mandatory fees and other charges applicable to a purchase should be presented clearly to the buyer as required before the transaction is completed.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers. Additional terms from those providers may apply.
Sellers are responsible for any marketplace charges that they have clearly agreed to and for taxes or other obligations that apply to their selling activity.
When an order is placed, AUCZI may provide the buyer and seller with information and tools to help manage the transaction.
An order may sometimes need to be cancelled or reversed, for example where payment cannot be completed, an item is unavailable, fraud or security concerns arise, or cancellation is required by law or applicable marketplace policy.
Sellers must provide appropriate delivery information and should dispatch products using the delivery arrangements shown or agreed for the transaction.
Available delivery services may vary by seller, product and destination. Where tracking is available, buyers and sellers should retain relevant delivery information until the transaction is complete.
Returns, refunds and cancellation rights depend on applicable law, the nature of the transaction and relevant AUCZI policies.
Sellers who act as traders must comply with the consumer rights and obligations applicable to them. Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce rights that a consumer has under applicable law.
Please see the AUCZI Return Policy for further information.
Seller proceeds may be processed according to the payout options and payment arrangements available through AUCZI.
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable terms and law, a payment or payout may be delayed or held while a transaction, dispute, security concern, verification requirement, refund or suspected fraudulent activity is reviewed.
AUCZI will not use payout holds as an arbitrary penalty.
Reviews and feedback should reflect genuine experiences.
Users must not submit or arrange fake, misleading or manipulated reviews. AUCZI may investigate and take appropriate action where review manipulation is reasonably suspected.
Auri is AUCZI's marketplace assistant. Auri may help users prepare listings, organise catalogue information, identify possible listing issues and answer marketplace questions.
Automated assistance may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Sellers remain responsible for reviewing and approving their listings and important product information before publication.
Auri does not replace applicable AUCZI policies, professional advice or legal rights and obligations.
AUCZI may use reasonable measures designed to detect fraud, misuse, suspicious transactions, prohibited activity and threats to marketplace security.
We may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations or investigate suspected misuse.
You must not use AUCZI to:
AUCZI may take proportionate action where there are reasonable grounds to believe an account or activity breaches these Terms, applicable policies or legal requirements, or creates a material fraud, safety or security risk.
Depending on the circumstances, action may include requesting information, limiting particular features, removing listings, temporarily restricting an account or suspending access.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide information about the reason for significant account action and any available review or appeal process.
AUCZI's name, branding, software, website design and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users retain ownership of content they own. By uploading content required for a listing or marketplace activity, you give AUCZI permission to use, display, reproduce and process that content to operate, promote and provide the relevant marketplace services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
You must have the necessary rights to content you upload.
AUCZI provides marketplace technology and services that help buyers and sellers find products, communicate where permitted and manage transactions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular transaction, AUCZI is not the seller of products listed by independent marketplace sellers.
This does not exclude any responsibility that AUCZI has under applicable law in its capacity as marketplace operator or where AUCZI itself supplies a product or service.
We aim to keep AUCZI reliable and available, but uninterrupted operation cannot always be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical problems, security incidents or circumstances outside reasonable control may occasionally affect availability.
We will take reasonable steps to maintain and restore marketplace services where problems occur.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by law, AUCZI is not responsible for losses caused solely by matters outside its reasonable control or by independent sellers or users where AUCZI is not legally responsible for those acts.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights or remedies available to consumers.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Consumers may have statutory rights in relation to products and services, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in the AUCZI Privacy Policy.
Users must also handle personal information obtained through marketplace transactions responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary, for example because of changes to AUCZI services, marketplace features, legal requirements, security requirements or business operations.
Where a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice before the change takes effect where required.
Changes will not be applied retrospectively in a way that unlawfully removes rights already acquired under an existing transaction.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent you from relying on mandatory legal protections or bringing proceedings in a court where you have a legal right to do so.
If you have a question about these Terms or need assistance, please use the AUCZI Contact Us or Help & FAQ pages.
